Delete your LooKey account

Google Play requires apps that offer account creation to publish a deletion route that works without reinstalling the app. This page is that route.

In the app (immediate)

1. Open LooKey and go to the You tab.
2. Tap Delete my account at the bottom.
3. Confirm with the same Google or Apple account you signed in with.

Deletion takes effect immediately and cannot be undone.

By email

If you no longer have the app installed, email kandai.wata+lookey@gmail.com from the address you signed up with, asking to delete your LooKey account. We will confirm and delete within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Everything tied to your account is removed permanently:

• Your account and sign-in identity
• Your profile — display name, email address and profile photo
• Every place you added to the map
• Every access code, WiFi detail and note you contributed, including those on places other people added
• Your comments and votes
• Any photos you uploaded

What is retained, and for how long

Nothing tied to your identity is retained after deletion completes.

Where a place was removed following a business’s takedown request, we keep a non-personal identifier for that location so it cannot simply be re-added. It contains no information about who submitted it.

Residual copies may persist in encrypted backups held by our hosting provider, Google Firebase, and are purged on that provider’s ordinary backup cycle (within 30 days). They are not accessible or searchable in the meantime.
